Strawberry or raspberry packet jelly
Rubber glove
Small scissors
Strong rubber band
A Grown Up to supervise |
What you do ... |
Ask your grown up to help you mix the contents of the packet jelly together with some hot water in a bowl. Only use 3/4 of the amount of water recommended on the packet to make a strong mixture.
Make up as much jelly as would fill a rubber glove.
Once the jelly mixture has cooled, pour it into the rubber glove.
Tightly tie the end with the elastic band so that no liquid can escape.
Put the hand in the freezer, making sure it is not pressing against anything, as this will ruin the shape.
Once the hand has frozen, ask your grown up to help you cut off the rubber glove using the scissors.
Put the hand on a plate and store in the fridge until you are ready to present it! |
