| Let's Write Lyrics! Workshops |
Through this workshop, we can add a musical element to our 'Let's Play!' workshops. For example, 'Let's Write Some Christmas Lyrics!' will include Christmas themed activities from 'Let's Play ... with Christmas!' Alternatively, you can add your own theme and we will include music themed activities from our 'Let's Play ... with Music!' programme.
Working in small groups, with an emphasis on teamwork, the children will choose one of our original backing tracks and write new lyrics on the chosen theme.
A morning session will include a 2.5 hr workshop for one class. If you would like to include 2 classes, we will adapt the workshop to fit into your school day and provide 2 x 2hr sessions.
Teachers will receive a backing track for the new lyrics, which will include alternative tracks so the class can write some more lyrics after we leave!

| Let's Write a Song! Workshops |
This exciting one-day workshop gives P5-P7 classes a chance to work as a team to create a brand new song. The class will be divided into small groups to work on different elements of the song with a professional song writer, joining together to rehearse and record a vocal track at the end of a day packed with enjoyable music and literacy themed activities.
The package includes a useful teachers' pack for each participating class, plus a CD recording of the new song for every participant to remind them of the day (single class only) or an opportunity for the children to purchase a copy of the CD at a low cost (where more than one class is involved in the workshop).

*The costs apply for all Aberdeen City locations and much of Aberdeenshire. For some Aberdeenshire areas and outwith Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire, we may need to charge extra for travel and overnight expenses/time. Please contact us in advance of booking so that we can confirm any additional costs you may incur.
